Process association banking lockbox payments on a daily basis. Open and review incoming lockbox mail, prepare and process payments, and handle document preparation for system input and mailing. Perform scanning, committing, and auditing processes, process and verify customer requests in systems, and follow department procedures while supporting compliance training (BSA/AML) and safe, attentive work habits.

Key Responsibilities

•Open and review incoming lockbox mail and prepare lockbox payments for processing.
•Process lockbox payments.
•Prepare documents for mailing, including placing postage and preparing documents awaiting system input.
•Perform document scanning, committing, and auditing processes.
•Process and verify customer requests in systems and follow written and verbal department procedures, alerting the manager of procedure changes.

Key Requirements

•High school or GED plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education, with 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
•Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence and routine reports.
•Ability to calculate amounts and apply fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to utilize common sense to carry out written/oral instructions and handle routine problems involving several known variables.
•Advanced 10-key and alphanumeric data entry with word processing/typing; intermediate spreadsheet skills; basic accounting, contact management, and database knowledge.
