Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead IT compliance, audit, and GRC activities aligned to BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • •Prepare, conduct, and follow up on audits, including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and coordination with auditors, certification bodies, and authorities.
  • •Create and maintain audit-ready IT security and compliance documentation, including ISMS and IT-Grundschutz artifacts, risk registers, operating procedures, and meeting/workshop records.
  • •Identify, assess, document, and mitigate operational IT risks and support security accreditation for classified environments.
  • •Operate and maintain secure IT infrastructure and support incident response by analyzing logs with SIEM solutions, while coordinating with service providers and auditors.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of relevant experience in IT risk, compliance, or secure IT operations.
  • •Strong hands-on expertise in Governance, Risk Management & Compliance and auditing support (BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, ISMS implementation, evidence management, and remediation tracking).
  • •Solid understanding of operational risk mitigation and cybersecurity, including secure IT architectures and SIEM platforms (ideally Splunk).
  • •Ability to plan and drive compliance and infrastructure projects independently within governance frameworks.
  • •Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT/cybersecurity/information security management, or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with substantial relevant experience.
