Job Summary

Cost leadership role delivering complex real estate projects with client-facing responsibility, leading cost management teams across pre-contract cost planning, estimation and post-contract commercial management. You’ll handle procurement, value engineering, and final accounts, while driving improvements to procedures and identifying new business opportunities in a mid-senior level, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting the final estimate.
•Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.
•Compile feasibility studies.
•Prepare procurement reports.
•Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce tender lists, tender analysis, produce tender report, and compile contractual documents.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
•Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost management.
•Experience of leading cost management commissions for large construction projects of high complexity.
•Good knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering, and life cycle costing.
•People management experience, particularly in the context of managing a team delivering a project.
