Key Responsibilities

•Take responsibility for your own food counter, ensuring highest presentation and hygiene standards at all times.
•Stay on top of stock levels so customer-favourite products are available when needed.
•Follow health and safety protocols for open food and help reduce food wastage.
•Maintain knowledge of new products and Waitrose food values (e.g., animal welfare).
•Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 13 - 13.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Be 18 years or over to apply due to working time regulations.
•Have communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
•Be comfortable with a customer-facing role (welcomed).
•Have experience in a catering/hospitality environment (welcomed).
•Be flexible and supportive of the whole branch.
