Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the architecture of smart contract systems across Ondo’s evolving product suite, including chain deployments and DeFi interoperability/bridging solutions.
  • •Ensure lifecycle security and operations for contracts, including upgrade safety, administrative controls, and operational guardrails.
  • •Build tooling and automation that enable non-technical teammates to safely view, monitor, and manage contracts without raw chain scripting.
  • •Integrate smart contract design with product, web, and operational teams so decisions flow to end users and teams can operate the system day to day.
  • •Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership on high-impact blockchain projects to deliver sound technical decisions aligned to long-term goals.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software engineering experience and 1+ years in blockchain engineering, ideally from a DeFi protocol live on multiple chains.
  • •Strong competency with Solidity; exposure to non-EVM smart contract languages is a plus, especially Solana.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Ability to design systems beyond contracts, including tooling, automation, security across the contract lifecycle, and integration points between contracts, apps, and operational teams.
  • •Strong technical communication and judgment, with an emphasis on understanding the “why” and defining minimum scope.
