Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain invoices and shipping paperwork and facilitate routine service such as checking oil/water/gas/air, reporting malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) appropriate for the vehicle or chauffeur’s license depending on state.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing and the DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff.
  • •Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab.
