Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate cores by forming and annealing slit core steel for assembly into core/coil assemblies.
  • •Manage work centers (core former, deblock, georg, tranco) and follow production schedules to complete core processes.
  • •Set up and operate core wrapping machines; load steel rolls, wrap cores on the mandrel, and mark required identification numbers.
  • •Scan units into SAP, move trays through the process using conveyors/AGVs, and complete associated paperwork accurately.
  • •Inspect and test cores for quality, enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) and OSHA-aligned safety procedures, and maintain safety/housekeeping (5S+).
