Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and scale the AI FDE engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and building team structure.
  • •Influence Product, R&D, and GTM to shape roadmap and GTM strategy based on delivery learnings and voice-of-customer insights.
  • •Develop executive relationships with key customers and partners as a trusted advisor during AI transformations.
  • •Coordinate with Field Engineering and Sales leadership on strategy for strategic accounts and cross-functional delivery.
  • •Own OKRs for AI-services led accounts including revenue, utilization, and public references, and represent Databricks through thought leadership.
  • •Recruit and develop data scientists/ML engineers; lead strategic AI initiatives and scalable delivery processes.

Salary: USD 232,900 - 320,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building and managing high-performing AI/ML teams, including hiring and mentoring.
  • •Ability to scope, sell, and deliver technical engagements in enterprise environments, managing escalations and ensuring customer outcomes.
  • •Strong current technical depth in AI/ML foundations, able to contribute in architecture reviews and stay current with the field.
  • •Experience leading teams that shipped production AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
