Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute the product security strategy, roadmap, operating model, and success metrics based on business and technical risk.
  • •Hire, manage, mentor, and develop product security engineers, building a sustainable culture and operating rhythm.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with engineering and product to implement secure development lifecycle practices (architecture reviews, threat modeling, testing, remediation).
  • •Use AI and automation to expand product security coverage, including automated review, vulnerability triage, risk identification, and agentic security workflows.
  • •Own vulnerability management and lead product security during incidents, coordinating investigation/remediation and driving lessons learned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in application security, product security, or related security engineering, including experience securing cloud-native SaaS products.
  • •5+ years of people management or technical leadership experience building security teams or programs.
  • •Strong technical foundation in application security, secure architecture, threat modeling, OWASP Top 10, and secure SDLC practices.
  • •Experience securing cloud environments, preferably AWS, and containerized infrastructure such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • •Experience with security testing and vulnerability management (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, CI/CD security integrations) and DevSecOps practices.
