Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level technical assistance and guidance for design of electrical systems, including lighting, controls, fire alarm, and power distribution.
  • •Oversee collection, compilation, and analysis of project data (site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, equipment specifications) for design and procurement package development.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for mid-level and complex projects to ensure code compliance and data integrity.
  • •Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases from concept development through construction and operation, including inspections and investigations of site and substation conditions.
  • •Mentor and manage staff, lead larger-scale projects, and support business development by identifying additional opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for capital projects in power distribution for healthcare, life science, and commercial scale.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of applicable electrical engineering laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate investigations, inspections, and complex technical reviews, with strong communication and technical writing skills.
