Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement data ingestion (real-time and batch) using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT with Azure technologies and data tools.
  • •Design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines and notebooks consolidating sources into Data Lakes/Data Warehouses.
  • •Collaborate with engineers on data system best practices, including integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • •Develop prototype or proof-of-concept implementations when the solution is unknown.
  • •Build interactive reports for internal and customer consumption.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in software development, with experience in data engineering or data analytics.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure).
  • •Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Spark SQL, or Scala) and SQL, with a drive for elegant, maintainable code.
  • •Experience with streaming and batch data tools such as Spark and Airflow.
  • •Experience with data warehousing using MS Fabric (or similar) and visualization tools like Power BI.
