Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and support the Technical Services Structures team in investigating structural damage, setting temporary fly-on limitations, and coordinating temporary/permanent repair definitions with Type Certificate holders and Maintenance Repair Organisations.
  • •Align fleet structural damage actions, repair plans, and maintenance activities with other engineering functions to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • •Monitor and manage open structural certification programmes, ensuring compliance demonstrations and resources align to established needs and timelines.
  • •Lead airworthiness and certification activities for structural design under CAR V CAR-21 Subpart J and support continuing airworthiness information/history for the flydubai fleet.
  • •Represent the team in document review, industry, and airworthiness authority meetings; oversee 24/7 resource planning, training, and process/procedure development for Design Services (Structures).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (3+ years) in engineering or equivalent.
  • •Engineering degree OR ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License.
  • •Fluent English.
  • •Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a GCAA CAR-M Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation and/or CAR-21 Subpart J Design Organisation, including at least 3 years holding a Structures Compliance Verification Engineer approval for aircraft structural repairs and embodiment.
  • •Proficient regulatory knowledge of GCAA CAR-21 Subpart J / EASA Part 21 Subpart J.
