Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide functional support to the Registrar’s Office for Banner Student modules and associated academic processes.
  • •Support Banner configuration review and validation to ensure system setup aligns with approved academic and operational requirements.
  • •Coordinate testing and validation activities, including UAT, documenting issues for follow-up with IT and/or the vendor.
  • •Assist with process documentation, including business process procedures, workarounds, and functional guidance related to Banner operations.
  • •Liaise across the Registrar’s Office, IT, and vendors, and provide hands-on user support and training materials during implementation and stabilization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years in student systems/registrar operations or higher-ed business systems with hands-on process ownership.
  • •Experience leading SIS implementations or major upgrades from the business side (preferably Ellucian Banner or similar).
  • •Functional knowledge of academic operations including registration, student records, grading, progression, and graduation.
  • •Ability to document processes and coordinate effectively with operational users, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and support testing and stabilization.
