Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the delivery of site-based infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann, ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, programme, and cost requirements.
  • •Review and monitor contractor documentation and performance, including HSQE submissions (RAMS, TMPs), CEMPs, quality plans, and contractual obligations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections, safety reviews, and quality audits; complete works per specifications and approved proposals; support incident investigations as required.
  • •Supervise construction activities, maintain detailed project records, and support coordination and monitoring of commissioning to achieve timely completion.
  • •Administer commercial aspects of contracts, including interim/final accounts, variations, claims, and contractor performance against KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
  • •Experience in site supervision of civil engineering construction works.
  • •Experience working on infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, and other large-scale civil works.
  • •Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, regulatory compliance, safety auditing, and RAMS review.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction contracts (including FIDIC) and experience assessing contractor claims and payment applications.
