Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap for Rain’s onchain product (smart contracts, chain/asset coverage, settlement, and payments) end to end.
  • •Partner with engineering to shape protocol/infrastructure tradeoffs (contract architecture/upgradeability, collateralization/liquidation logic, node/RPC reliability, gas/fee strategy, bridging and cross-chain messaging) into partner-facing decisions.
  • •Decide which chains, assets, and stablecoins Rain supports and when, building the framework using liquidity, security, cost, partner demand, compliance, and regulatory exposure.
  • •Drive the security bar for onchain work, including audits, monitoring, incident response, and operational guardrails for holding value onchain.
  • •Translate complex protocol and infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces and clear partner-facing documentation, while gathering partner feedback and measuring adoption to iterate quickly.
