Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to security and system health incidents with troubleshooting and configuration within Imperva’s Cloud Application Security platform.
  • •Provide proactive monitoring, configuration, and integration assistance, along with post-sales/customer support.
  • •Analyze customer data (case trends, traffic, alerts, and attack information) to recommend improvements and develop customized security policies.
  • •Advise during triage, analysis, and remediation, and deliver insights through advanced reporting and presentations/customer reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technology field plus 6+ years of application or network security experience in a technical customer-facing role (with at least 4 years in application security), or 5+ years with a Master’s degree and at least 3 years technical customer-facing experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience with internet security and networking technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, proxies, and firewalls, plus OWASP Top 10 and OWASP Automated Threats to Web Applications.
  • •Ability to analyze cases, traffic, alerts, and attack information to make recommendations for improving systems health and security posture.
  • •Excellent analytical and problem-solving approach with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal/customer-focused skills.
  • •Experience with basic scripting in one or more languages (e.g., Python) and an inclination to automate and streamline repetitive processes.
