Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with aviation operations, engineering, and product stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
  • •Map complex datasets from Airbus Skywise to support downstream Java microservices and define functional specifications (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, data flow diagrams).
  • •Identify gaps between available Skywise data and React frontend UI capabilities; manage sprint backlog prioritization and grooming with the Product Owner.
  • •Design comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and end-to-end test cases for data workflows and UI interactions.
  • •Execute API/integration testing for Java RESTful microservices and data pipelines on AWS; perform React UI testing and manage defect lifecycles in Agility or ServiceNow.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional experience as a Technical BA, QA Engineer, or a hybrid BA/QA role in an Agile environment.
  • •Experience with Airbus Skywise and manufacturing/aviation data paradigms (e.g., Skywise Core, Palantir Foundry architecture).
  • •Hands-on AWS environment experience, including S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • •Ability to work with a Java microservices backend and React frontend (read JSON payloads/logs and inspect browser elements).
  • •ISTQB, CCBA/CBAP, or AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications are a plus.
