Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute high-quality, well-tested code to the modernization and framework team and supporting services.
  • •Design and build automated frameworks that validate functional equivalence, performance benchmarks, and data integrity for modernization workflows.
  • •Integrate LLMs into developer workflows for unit test generation and edge-case discovery, including evaluation and scoring approaches.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management, other engineers, and designers to deliver on the product roadmap, including feedback on designs and pull requests.
  • •Participate in code reviews and help troubleshoot complex technical issues in distributed systems, including process tasks like CI/CD and testing.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of commercial software development experience with at least one JVM language such as Java, preferably using the Spring ecosystem.
  • •Proven experience evaluating Large Language Models (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-weights) and understanding LLM-as-a-judge concepts.
  • •Experience integrating LLMs into the developer workflow to automate unit test generation and discover edge cases.
  • •Experience building developer tools and complex testing frameworks, including contract testing frameworks and automated validation systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with application/database modernization ensuring database state equivalence, including change data capture, event-driven interception, and state comparison algorithms (SQL/NoSQL modeling and comparison).
