Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to understand customers’ needs, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling through appointments and outside sales activities. Work with business partners to refer customers and meet production and customer experience goals while adhering to risk, ethics, and confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities, including presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals, referring customers to business partners when appropriate and supporting loan and bankcard processes as assigned.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to perform consultative sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
