Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build platform abstractions that enable users to self-manage infrastructure, reducing manual operations and ticket volume.
  • •Drive automation of operational processes by building new services for the team.
  • •Support development of the infrastructure platform for network and connectivity for Mercado Libre.
  • •Build observability and reporting tools, applying data-handling techniques to improve visibility into area processes.
  • •Resolve high-impact engineering challenges, from big-data pipelines at scale to distributed system design, including on-premise infrastructure initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience developing with Python, Java, Go, or similar stacks.
  • •Knowledge of software architecture and large-scale system design in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • •Experience managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, valued with Kubernetes.
  • •Experience processing data at scale; familiarity with Spark, Dataflow, or similar is valued.
  • •Ability to adapt to high-variability environments and changing priorities with strong learning capacity.
