Job Summary

Assist machine operators and production teams with maintenance, clean-up, yard and warehouse support, utilities work, and material handling. Handle repetitive production-area tasks, keep work areas clean and organized, and maintain safety by using security gear, following regulations, and reporting hazards. Support packaging, labeling, shipping/receiving documentation, inventory counting, and operating equipment as trained, including conveyors and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist designated machine operators and production teams with maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse support, utilities, and material handling.
•Keep work areas clean and organized, including conveyors and surrounding areas, and maintain pallets neatly and orderly.
•Use safety/security gear at all times and report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.
•Operate machinery/equipment as trained (including conveyors, forklifts, hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, and powered vehicles).
•Support shipping/receiving and production logistics by loading/unloading trucks, packaging/labeling products, verifying loads, and maintaining, verifying, and counting product inventory.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, including applying common-sense understanding to follow detailed oral or written directions.
•Ability to follow company production and safety procedures, including lock out tag out procedures.
•Able to pass internal certification/training and operate as trained and instructed.
•Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs from ground level.
