Job Summary

Serve as a Joint Special Operations (SOF) operations and plans subject matter expert, advising senior leaders and joint battle staff on the planning, execution, and assessment of USSOCOM collective SOF training and readiness events. Support readiness governance and decision support, recommend improvements to planning systems and battle rhythms, track readiness trends, and provide real-time and post-event recommendations—leveraging Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) tools and related systems.

•Provide command-level readiness insight, decision support, and integration guidance for USSOCOM collective training and readiness events.

•Deliver non-directive advisory support to strengthen decision-making and commander understanding.
•Advise during distributed or in-person readiness events with real-time and post-event recommendations to advance SOF-CF integration and mission command proficiency.

Key Requirements

•Active TS/SCI clearance required.
•15+ years of Special Operations experience.
•Former O-5+/CW3+/E-9+.
•Bachelor’s degree.
•2+ years Joint / Combatant Command / Service HQ / USSOCOM HQ staff experience.
