Job Summary

Build and modernize the Drover framework that powers the native UI foundation across Adobe desktop apps. As a senior, high-ownership design systems engineer, you’ll influence how Spectrum design system concepts turn into fast, polished desktop experiences, tackling layout/adaptive sizing, animation, compositing/rendering, theming, and performance. Partner across design and engineering to prototype, ship, and validate new UI capabilities, automation, and scalable quality systems.

•Partner with designers, engineers, and product teams to modernize Drover UI foundations.
•Shape framework capabilities, APIs, and abstractions that help product teams ship UI faster and more consistently.

•Build automation, validation, and performance systems to make quality measurable at scale.
•Participate in design and code reviews to set the standard for UI craft.

Salary: USD 139,000 - 257,550 annually

•5+ years of software engineering experience with deep production C++ expertise.
•Strong systems-design experience, including framework or platform architecture.
•Depth in at least one UI framework area such as layout, animation, rendering, theming, or performance.
•Experience building cross-platform software for Windows and macOS.
•Track record solving complex technical problems while keeping software fast, reliable, and maintainable.
