Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct analysis and design of onshore building and non-building structures using structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000.
  • •Perform design review of contractor engineering packages to ensure compliance with company requirements and optimize designs.
  • •Develop, maintain, and interpret engineering standards and specifications for onshore structures.
  • •Conduct vendor technical assessments for structural steel fabricators and similar commodities.
  • •Perform site structural condition assessments and provide rehabilitation solutions, while supporting innovation/technology programs and mentoring structural engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • •Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification (or equivalent) is required.
  • •15+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably in the energy sector.
  • •Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IBC, ACI, and AISC (or similar).
  • •Proficiency in structural engineering analysis and design software/tools and experience with advanced topics like dynamic analysis, blast-resistant design, and seismic design.
