Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders, inspection reports, and repair requests to determine required parts and materials.
  • •Research and identify OEM, aftermarket, and remanufactured parts, and obtain vendor pricing and availability.
  • •Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates, quotes, and purchase requests in company management systems.
  • •Coordinate with mechanics and shop supervisors to verify repair scopes and parts requirements; track orders and update stakeholders.
  • •Maintain records and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, warranties, shortages, damaged shipments, and returns.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or another combination including degree/certification beyond HS/GED).
  • •Strong parts estimating and parts management knowledge for automotive/truck/heavy equipment/mechanical repair operations.
  • •Knowledge of automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or industrial mechanical components.
  • •Experience using parts catalogs, inventory systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and the ability to read/interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair documentation.
