Job Summary

Senior AI Engineer (AI Automation) at TRM Labs will design and build full-stack, AI-powered internal applications and agentic solutions. You’ll own end-to-end delivery, work with modern AI models, embed with multiple internal teams, and shape high-impact workflows that scale across the organization.

Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and own full-stack, AI-powered internal applications, including backend services, APIs, data storage, and user-facing interfaces.
•Develop custom agentic solutions that leverage state-of-the-art AI models to automate workflows, augment decision-making, and scale business processes.
•Embed within internal teams to deeply understand their goals, constraints, and key metrics, then translate those needs into technical solutions with clear success criteria.
•Own projects end-to-end, including technical design, architecture decisions, scoping, delivery, iteration, and ongoing support.
•Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to expand their understanding of what’s possible with AI and help shape more ambitious solutions.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building scalable web applications, services, and APIs.
•Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, with frontend experience (React or similar).
•Experience building backend systems and designing APIs, with datastores such as PostgreSQL/pgvector, Pinecone, and Redis.
•Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools and applications, including modern AI models or AI-enabled workflows.
•Experience building or experimenting with agentic systems and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) or agentic browser automation.
