Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.
  • •Lead and manage end to end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
  • •Lead and support the development of the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend.
  • •Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
  • •Managing client relationships and related commission outputs and deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in and/or knowledge of regulated procurement, in particular Public Contract Regulations 2015 with an awareness of the Green Paper and potential changes to the public procurement regime
  • •Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for Public and Private sector clients
  • •A strong background in tender preparation, development and management ideally including negotiation
  • •Commission, client relationship, and people management
  • •Experience of developing and using various forms of contracts with particular focus on NEC and JCT
