Job Summary

Manage and deliver a portfolio of small but critical projects/work packages in the AWMS IDT, coordinating with Engineering and Operations to scope work and track progress. Provide project management support to the Portfolio Manager, monitor performance against schedule, technical, financial, and quality objectives, lead problem-solving sessions, and escalate issues when needed. Ensure work aligns with the Operational Framework and LCM Mandates and support proposals for follow-on tasks.

•Lead proactive problem-solving sessions to overcome project issues, escalating to the Portfolio Manager when needed.
•Ensure work packages/tasks adhere to the Operational Framework and LCM Mandates and support proposals for follow-on tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 45,177 annually

Key Requirements

•Project management experience, ideally within a comparable defence industry.
•Formal training or experience in project management, including scheduling, cost management, and risk tools.
•Knowledge of scheduling, cost management, and risk software tools, e.g., MS Project & Predict.
•Experience with SAP is preferred.
•Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work effectively across functional and company boundaries.
