Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify and meet customers’ current and future financial needs. Build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive growth through cross-selling, outside sales, and proactive marketing outreach. Partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to refer customers and support production, customer experience, and ethical risk management within the bank’s risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned to the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling to existing customers and perform outside sales activities including onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Coordinate with assigned business partners and refer customers when appropriate; meet customer experience and production goals and support revenue growth.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to become comfortable with sales activities to acquire new households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to develop working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions; must obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS at time of employment.
