Staff Engineer, Structural Designer (R4937)

Lead the mechanical design of Shield AI's autonomous UAV structures, owning the full design process from concept to release. Perform structural/kinematic calculations and initial FEA, prototype and test mechanisms, and collaborate across electrical, avionics, flight controls, manufacturing and test teams to deliver reliable, production-ready structural systems for launch, recovery, and field deployment.
