Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage projects through the full lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • •Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements; monitor progress against milestones.
  • •Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; ensure execution aligns with Helios Towers project standards and processes.
  • •Oversee budget and resource management, including cost estimates, expenditure monitoring, and coordination of materials, subcontractors, equipment, and workforce.
  • •Oversee quality assurance and SHEQ compliance, including quality plans, inspections/testing/commissioning requirements, and SHEQ incident resolution; maintain stakeholder alignment and status updates.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex engineering, telecommunications, energy, civil, oil & gas, or capital projects.
  • •Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • •Experience managing multiple stakeholders, contractors, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and project controls; registration with the Malawi Institution of Engineers (MIE) is mandatory.
