Job Summary

Lead the AI strategy for Asia, with a focus on Generative AI and agentic AI, translating cutting-edge capabilities into measurable business outcomes. Identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases across underwriting, claims, distribution and operations; drive production deployments; establish Responsible AI governance; and champion adoption through strong partnerships with regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute the Asia AI strategy in alignment with Allianz Commercial’s global AI roadmap, focusing on Generative AI and Agentic AI applications.
•Act as the local counterpart to GDO to apply strategy and guide execution locally; identify, prioritise and deliver high-impact AI use cases across underwriting, claims, distribution, risk consulting and operations.
•Drive the transition of AI initiatives from pilot to scalable, production-grade deployments that deliver measurable business outcomes and ROI.
•Establish and maintain a regional AI governance framework, ensuring compliance with evolving Asia regulatory landscapes and implementing Responsible AI practices.
•Lead stakeholder engagement, change management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure AI adoption across diverse Asia markets; manage relationships with external AI technology vendors and partners.

Key Requirements

•7 to 10 years of experience with Generative AI, language models (large and small), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning and agentic AI architectures.
•Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps practices.
•Strong knowledge of AI principles, model risk management, AI governance frameworks and data privacy regulations across Asia jurisdictions.
•Experience with tools and platforms such as Python, SQL, Databricks, and modern AI development stacks.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
