Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform flight-quality jet engine assembly/disassembly and related DAT operations using prescribed techniques.
  • •Conduct test operations in accordance with applicable technical data and standard practices, including set-up and operation of test facilities and special test equipment.
  • •Use hand tools, tooling, and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test jet engines.
  • •Ensure assembly/disassembly phases comply with self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes and quality standards.
  • •Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives per work instructions and approved technical data.

Key Requirements

  • •HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •1+ years’ experience in an aviation mechanic role or appropriate technical training (ASE certification or military mechanic equivalent).
  • •Basic understanding of DAT (Disassembly, Assembly, Test).
  • •U.S. citizenship is required for this program/contract.
  • •Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P).
