Key Responsibilities

•Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
•Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
•Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
•Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
•Complete training on assigned tasks and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Requirements

•Actively enrolled in an accredited BS in Civil Engineering (or related) with an anticipated graduation date of Month 2028 or later.
•Must be 18 or older.
•Demonstrated interest in Track Design Engineering (or related) and a desire to advance skills related to the work and projects.
•Competent interpersonal and communication skills for both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
•Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and spreadsheets; authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
