Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate environmental contributions across aviation project designs and assessments to improve environmental performance.
  • •Direct and deliver projects, including tasks related to recruitment, bidding, project team management, project delivery, and financial management.
  • •Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers, and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Lead large, multiple, complex projects with oversight of technical, quality, commercial, and health and safety performance.
  • •Support growth and win new work by developing proposals, delivering strategic bids and framework opportunities, and promoting innovation such as Digital EIA.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant environmental or planning degree (or equivalent experience), with chartered status or actively working towards chartership.
  • •Demonstrable experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for aviation schemes under UK planning regimes.
  • •Awareness of consenting processes for aviation/airport projects, including Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) and Environmental Permit applications.
  • •Ability to lead client communications and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and the public.
  • •Proven people management experience, including developing and upskilling internal teams.
