Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day team leadership, vision, values, and coaching to develop team spirit and cooperation.
  • •Oversee mechanical team performance, including work pipeline, finance, and operational management.
  • •Manage client relationships and act as the client’s key point of contact, supporting new commissions and business development.
  • •Ensure budget performance by meeting monthly/annual team budgets and supporting MEP budget planning while improving performance.
  • •Collaborate with directors and senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives across the team and wider business.

  • •Either has Chartership through CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council or is open to working towards it.
  • •Expertise in mechanical systems for data centres, including HVAC, cooling systems, fuel systems, controls, and energy management.
  • •Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex mechanical challenges, especially optimizing cooling for energy efficiency.
  • •Leadership and team management experience to guide and inspire mechanical engineers and technicians, mentoring and managing resources.
  • •Project management capability to plan, execute, and complete mechanical engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
