Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain real-time decisioning systems for risk and fraud checks executed during customer calculator usage.
  • •Own and improve risk infrastructure for Instant ACH, enabling instant transfers in the US market.
  • •Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to design rules, refine ML models, and support fraud/chargeback investigations.
  • •Build scalable, resilient distributed systems and optimize database/query performance for high-volume transaction processing.
  • •Take end-to-end ownership from initial idea through production monitoring, contributing to a “you build it, you run it” culture.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or other JVM-based languages and deep knowledge of the Spring framework.
  • •Design solutions optimized for latency and throughput, with experience keeping p99 end-to-end latency under 1 second for real-time risk checks.
  • •Deep knowledge of JDBC, database internals, and query optimization.
  • •Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, or Apache Flink for real-time event processing.
  • •Experience with CI/CD pipelines and designing scalable, resilient distributed systems.
