Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specification using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Perform assembly test preparation and conduct final inspections to verify conformance with specifications and codes.
  • •Inspect and test finished products; use established power checking procedures and equipment to verify unit integrity.
  • •Follow Lean initiatives and 5S guidelines; maintain equipment/tools/work area and cross-train across functions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year technical school diploma from an accredited institution.
  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • •Experience assembling electrical panelboards/switchboards using wiring diagrams, schematics, and power flow (preferred).
  • •Experience using measuring and torque tolerance tools for hardware assembly (preferred).
  • •Must be able to work overtime as required and lift 35 lbs. on a regular basis.
