Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle: triage scan/evaluation findings, prioritize by risk and exploitability, and coordinate remediation with R&D product/service/engineering teams.
  • •Monitor and triage security alerts as part of daily SOC operations, collaborating with cloud operations teams to resolve security events.
  • •Lead incident response for Fortinet cloud services: detect, investigate, contain, coordinate remediation/recovery, and run post-incident reviews to strengthen controls.
  • •Embed security practices into R&D CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secret detection, infrastructure-as-code security checks) and define security gates/release criteria.
  • •Support security compliance and testing efforts, including evidence for audits/certifications (e.g., ISO 27001) and CIS Benchmark assessments, and evaluate threat intelligence and AI-based security posture management.
  • •Participate in design/implementation of an AI-based cloud security posture management system focused on public IP scanning and security exposure analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of security engineering experience (e.g., Security Engineer, Penetration Tester, or DevSecOps/SRE).
  • •Hands-on experience with FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiSOAR (or equivalent enterprise SIEM/SOAR).
  • •System administration experience for security infrastructure, including firewalls (FortiGate or equivalent), VPN, SIEM, policy/rule management, and log source onboarding/health monitoring.
  • •Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Nuclei, or Wiz/Lacework.
