Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including wearing mandatory PPE and following EHS programs to maintain a safe, clean workplace.
  • •Review production orders and reports to resolve discrepancies in product specifications with the line Foreman.
  • •Remove finished product from winders, verify weight on scales, and pack/band cartons for shipment to designated skids.
  • •Apply identification labels and maintain required records or tally sheets in line with established packing plans and procedures.
  • •Ensure quality and damage-free handling by meeting work order specifications and maintaining housekeeping on the production floor.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and/or previous manufacturing experience.
  • •Ability to work in a production environment and monitor machine quality and alarms.
  • •Ability to read and communicate in English with coworkers about issues and activities.
  • •Functional math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) and ability to accurately read measuring devices such as a tape measure.
  • •Ability to meet physical demands of a 12-hour shift, including climbing stairs to tower areas and handling/packing product.
