Job Summary

Lead and grow the interest rate derivatives business for Japanese corporate clients in EMEA, building cross-product opportunities with FX, FIST and treasury products. Partner with Relationship Managers to review client needs, price trades, and manage KYC/compliance. Travel across the EEA/EU to meet clients and drive growth in a global markets context.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote, market and book Interest Rate Derivatives for Japanese corporate clients in EMEA, liaising with SMBC and affiliates.
•Support, improve and develop the build-out of overall interest rate swap derivative operations and capabilities across SMBC group and affiliates.
•Support cross-sale and collaboration with other products for derivative clients, especially FX, FIST and TD business.
•Prepare client materials, trade ideas, call reports and assistance in pricing and execution.
•Travel throughout the EEA and EU to engage clients and drive business growth.
