Key Responsibilities

  • •Support C&I construction activities on a major EPCM project and drive technical excellence and assurance for the painting and insulation portion.
  • •Instruct and ensure C&I construction contractors, supervisors, and personnel comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) policies, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure contractors adhere to Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and site instructions.
  • •Be responsible for HSES and quality aspects within assigned areas, ensuring work completion in accordance with the project schedule and reviewing/monitoring availability of drawings, specifications, work instructions, and material deliveries.
  • •Develop daily and weekly work plans, monitor contractor discipline and timekeeping, report disciplinary issues, and inform the Discipline Superintendent when schedule adjustments are needed due to site conditions or constraints.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocational certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience on live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp projects in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, power generation, or similar process industries.
  • •Proven track record managing Instrumentation Construction activities within refinery and petrochemical environments.
  • •Significant experience supervising contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and effective construction execution.
  • •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
