Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend to and care for hens by ensuring adequate feed, water, and ventilation for the flock.
  • •Collect eggs from egg tables/floor, record number of eggs laid, and observe/grade/clean eggs while distributing or disposing per Cobb standards.
  • •Weigh feed, handle birds, and weigh birds according to schedules.
  • •Change and clean nest pads, dust/clean nest areas and surfaces, maintain a clean egg room, and add/change litter.
  • •Record key production and animal info (egg numbers, bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality, and production percentage) and perform routine housekeeping and sanitation tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
