Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct inspections, testing, fault-finding, servicing, and repairs of submersible pumps and associated equipment.
  • •Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
  • •Complete complex pump repairs and overhauls to technical and quality standards, including final inspections and testing for safe return to service.
  • •Provide technical support, guidance, and on-the-job mentoring to less experienced technicians.
  • •Maintain accurate repair documentation and assist with planning and coordination of workshop repair priorities and deliveries, including travel to customer sites as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing pumps or other rotating/mechanical equipment.
  • •Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to complete repairs independently to a high workmanship standard.
  • •Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to less experienced technicians.
  • •A mechanical trade qualification or substantial relevant industry experience.
  • •Sound knowledge of workshop tools, equipment, and safe work practices, including strong organisational and communication skills.
