Job Summary

Develop and maintain mainframe applications in an MVS environment, working across the COBOL/JCL/DB2/V SAM/CICS toolchain and scheduling/monitoring with Control-M. Review and troubleshoot production issues, apply analytical skills to problem-solving, and perform unit testing. Collaborate in an agile environment and support work shifts (10:30 AM–8:30 PM) with a hybrid, office-based arrangement in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
•Develop and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, and Control-M.
•Review production problems and troubleshoot issues reported from production.
•Perform unit testing for developed changes.
•Work in an agile environment and collaborate with the team while following shift and hybrid-office requirements.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, and Control-M, plus basic IBM utilities.
•Experience maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
•Experience with mainframe application development.
