Job Summary

Lead remediation of global travel insurance portfolios with a primary focus on the UK. Drive performance analysis at client and portfolio levels, identify deterioration drivers, and implement remedial actions in collaboration with Pricing, Actuarial, Claims and Distribution to ensure rate adequacy, profitability and compliance with Allianz AzP standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and drive remediation efforts across global travel portfolios, with an initial and primary focus on the United Kingdom market.
•Conduct deep-dive analysis on individual client and portfolio performance to identify specific causes of deterioration, including rate inadequacy, rating factor drift, and shifts in risk mix.
•Collaborate closely with the Pricing team to ensure tariff and non-tariff books are performing in line with expectations; recommend and implement targeted adjustments where deviations are observed.
•Work hand-in-hand with the Portfolio Monitoring and Actuarial teams to identify underperforming segments, define remediation plans, and provide accurate performance data into central portfolio tools.
•Ensure underwriting actions are aligned with Allianz standards and AzP Underwriting Guidelines, with a strong focus on technical soundness and commercial impact.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of professional experience in insurance data analysis, pricing, or performance monitoring.
•Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
•Being Qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA, or equivalent) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA or equivalent) represents an advantage.
•Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL (or equivalent database technologies).
•Experience using insurance performance monitoring tools.
