Job Summary

Electrical Engineer role within AECOM’s Water Team in Scotland, delivering electrical design for water and wastewater projects. You will prepare feasibility and detailed designs, review electrical and ICA elements (e.g., chemical dosing, pumping stations, sludge treatment), produce client deliverables, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, conduct site surveys, and participate in design reviews (HAZOP/HAZIDs/SWIFTs) across major Scottish Water initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support.
•Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure/ treatment projects, such as chemical dosing, pumping stations and sludge treatment units.
•Produce and review client deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
•Liaise and collaborate with our water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide.

•A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
•Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution, such as IET.
