Provide expert day-to-day litigation docketing and court services support under the firm’s Managing Clerk’s Office. Oversee and execute complex electronic filings across federal and state courts, with deep specialization in NYSCEF, eCourts, eFlex/File & ServeXpress, Delaware Court of Chancery, and CM/ECF. Serve as a procedural authority for attorneys and paralegals, performing strict pre-filing quality control, rules-based deadline calculations, and detailed docket reporting using firm systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and personally execute compliant electronic filings for pleadings, motions, and complex legal documents across federal, state, and appellate courts nationwide.
•Act as a resident expert for filing logistics, local procedures, and court protocols across NY, NJ, and DE courts, including NYSCEF, eCourts, Delaware State Courts, Delaware Court of Chancery, and CM/ECF.
•Perform pre-filing document audits and docket entry verification in Milana to ensure formatting, redaction, signatures, exhibits, and rule-based accuracy for dates and deadlines.
•Interpret and apply court rules to calculate and input critical litigation deadlines, review incoming documents for key dates, and maintain accurate docket schedules and event reminders.
•Research litigants and case information using databases (including PACER, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, DocketBird, and CourtLink) and create customized docket reports for legal teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 41.03 - 46.15 hourly

Key Requirements

•5+ years of recent litigation docketing and court filing experience in a mid-to-large law firm, with strong emphasis on NY, NJ, and DE courts.
•Deep, specialized understanding of court structures, litigation lifecycles, and civil procedure, including FRCP, CPLR, NJ Court Rules, and Delaware (including Chancery Court Rules).
•Expert proficiency in rules-based docketing systems (Milana and/or CompuLaw) and hands-on e-filing experience across listed federal/state court platforms.
•Highly meticulous attention to detail when reviewing complex legal documents and calculating statutory deadlines.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex procedural rules to attorneys, staff, and court personnel.
