Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across multiple technical domains.
  • •Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis, including managing internal/external market research and comparisons.
  • •Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems with high system ownership and autonomy.
  • •Lead design reviews, run analyses, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of electrical/design experience in a professional setting, including experience with PCB design and ECAD (Altium, KiCAD, etc).
  • •Experience designing mechanical components for loads, stress, and mounting/fabrication, plus hands-on prototyping (soldering, board assembly, harnessing).
  • •Experience with controls/actuation, robotics, and/or motor/servo drive systems (including BLDC/brushed motor controller design and servo control systems).
  • •Familiarity with microcontrollers, power conversion, and system integration, with the ability to read and manipulate schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
  • •BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering field (or equivalent work experience), with high competence in engineering first principles and strong organizational skills.
