Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all station shift operations and maintenance, including startup and shutdown of main plant components and auxiliaries.
  • •Operate in accordance with SOPs and site safety standards; respond to abnormalities with corrective actions.
  • •Conduct routine plant tours and inspections and maintain accurate shift operating logs, records, and administrative documents.
  • •Perform cycle chemistry testing and monitor chemical/gas/fuel/water consumption and inventories to optimize efficiency.
  • •Support maintenance by performing electrical and mechanical inspections/troubleshooting and assisting with preventive/predictive maintenance under direction as trained.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 44.04 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Minimum of a State of Ohio Stationary Engineers 3rd class license.
  • •Five (5) years of power plant operations and maintenance experience preferred.
  • •Ability to read and write effectively in English and do basic mathematics.
  • •Knowledge of SOPs, pre-job briefs, Job Hazard Analysis, risk assessments, and LOTO; plus power plant safety procedures (e.g., confined spaces and chemical handling).
